It's time to get our music out there, and we have a solid plan for it. Over the next six months, Clover Overboard will be releasing one single every six weeks.
We admit it, we like to work slow and focus on quality. But we're not just sittin' on our arses over here! We've accomplished so much this past year in our slow-roast.
Created our logo in-house
Met every week to jam
Played our first live set
Recruited two new band members (fiddle and bass)
Wrote eight new songs
Created our website in-house
Began developing a social media presence
Researched & chose an admin publisher and distributor
Dove deep into independent artist management & marketing
And our lead singer started voice lessons (that's me)
Now that we're nice & caramelized, we're ready to release music.
With ten original works and four covers ready for the stage, we'll be selecting songs to release as singles and wrapping a few more into an EP to be released in 2024.
Now, we plan to gain momentum and find our people (you know, the ones who like our music). We've all agreed that releasing singles is the best way to build our audience, and that releasing them consistently is a good plan. So we've mapped out dates for our first few singles and broken the parts down into steps using project management software. Heck yeah, we're serious.
It will be a challenge to stick to our schedule since we're doing this independently (and we work other jobs). But we're spreading the workload amongst band members because everyone offers unique skills on top of their musical abilities.
Our first single will be released on December 1, 2023 and we're stoked. Thanks for being here for the ride.
